Meera Ramanathan

Hello, My name is Meera Ramanathan...

Hello,

My name is Meera Ramanathan and I am the Assistant Teacher in Room 107. I moved to San Diego from India and live in this wonderful city with my husband. I have a Masters degree in History of Fine Arts, Drawing and Painting. In India, I have taught children art and craft in an after school program. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience as this gave me a chance to interact and work with children of different age groups. I have also had my exhibition of paper collages. I have been taking several child development classes in Miramar college.

Children are newcomers to this world. The greatest joy I get from being with children is sharing their experience in seeing, discovering and exploring with them. Their excitement is contagious and it is amazing to watch how they liven up the atmosphere.

I am very excited to be a part of the staff at Unitarian Cooperative Preschool. I look forward to a wonderful school year.
